Cyclist hit Wednesday in Coralville dies

CORALVILLE — A cyclist hit Wednesday morning by a vehicle has died.
Coralville Police Chief Shane Kron said Andrew Pavlovec, 36, of North Liberty died Thursday of injuries suffered in the crash.
Pavlovec was heading south on 12th Avenue near Belmont Drive around 5:52 a.m. when he was hit from behind by a 16-year-old motorist.
Kron said the fatal crash is under investigation.
