Amana crash kills one

AMANA — A Conroy man was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Amana.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 29-year-old Gage A. Tuttle was driving a semi tanker eastbound in the 1100 block of Amana Road around 8:35 a.m. Monday when his tanker got too close to the edge of the road and slipped into a ditch.
Authorities said the tanker rolled and came to a rest in the ditch. Tuttle suffered fatal injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt, the state patrol reported.
