United Fire Group CFO resigns
CEDAR RAPIDS - United Fire Group on Friday said Dianne Lyons has resigned as senior vice president and chief financial officer to pursue personal interests.
The Cedar Rapids-based insurance company said the resignation of Lyons is effective immediately.
Lyons, 50, served in various accounting and administrative functions before being named controller in May 1999, vice president in May 2003 and CFO in May 2006.
Randy Ramlo, United Fire Group president and chief executive officer, said Lyons was an employee of the company for more than 30 years.
'As a senior member of our management team, Dianne has been instrumental in the financial strength and success of our organization,” Ramlo added. 'She will be greatly missed. We wish her well in any and all future endeavors.”
Ramlo said the company has initiated a nationwide search to fill the post of chief financial officer. Kevin Helbing, assistant vice president and controller, will assume the position of interim principal financial officer.
