Striking UAW workers say a judge’s order that is limiting their picketing activities outside a Davenport plant was issued improperly.
“Haven’t we had enough time to figure out how to manage discourse without enabling violence?” one employee wrote on an internal message board at the height of the Jan. 6 turmoil. “We’ve been fueling this fire for a long time and we shouldn’t be surprised it’s now out of control.”

Also, UAW Local 74 said negotiations will continue, with a hard deadline of 11:59 p.m. Wednesday. If the company doesn't improve its offer, a strike will commence.
