Trees Forever hosting tree sale for Hiawatha homeowners

Trees Forever is holding a tree sale for Hiawatha homeowners now through Sept. 24. Orders are being taken online at https://treesforever.org/adopt/ and will close at noon on Sept. 24. Available trees are white pine, red oak, redbud, elm, tulip, autumn serviceberry and bald cypress.
Cost is $25 per tree and the limit is two trees per household. Trees must be purchased prior to the pickup date. Quantities are limited for each species.
Adopters may pick up the trees they purchased at the Kirkwood Community College Linn County Regional Center parking lot, 1770 Boyson Rd., Hiawatha, on Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
