CEDAR RAPIDS — Registration is open for this year’s “PAWS in the Park” Dog Walk, a fundraising event for Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control, sponsored by the Friends Helping Friends Foundation. The walk is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Noelridge Park and the registration donation is $25.
PAWS in the Park includes a one-mile dog walk around the park, more than two dozen pet fair vendors, food trucks, and a chance to enter your pet and win prizes in the Howl-o-ween Canine Costume Contest.
Whether you walk as an individual, a corporate team, or just a group of friends and family, you can make a significant difference in the lives of the animals that depend on us. For your $25 registration donation you will receive a swag bag full of goodies, a logo sun visor and key chain, and a bottle of water.
