Jackson County Conservation hosts prairie program, soup supper on Sunday

MAQUOKETA — Come help support the management of Jackson County Conservation's rare and sensitive remnant prairies by enjoying some soup. On Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Hurstville Interpretive Center, 18670 63rd St., Maquoketa, listen to a presentation on the remnant prairies of Jackson County Conservation, presented by naturalist Tony Vorwald.
Following the presentation, enjoy a soup dinner prepared by the Friends of Jackson County Conservation. The supper is freewill donation. Please register by calling the Hurstville Interpretive Center at (563) 652-3783 or emailing tony@jacksonccb.com. All proceeds go to the Friends of Jackson County Conservation Habitat Committee.
