Presented by the Cedar Valley Street Rods, Cruisin' for Camp Courageous is one of Iowa’s largest charity car shows, featuring hundreds of show cars, vintage vehicles, motorcycles and trucks. Located at Camp Courageous, just southeast of Monticello, this is a family event with a large silent and live auction, several food stands, music, and a craft show. 3D Sound will provide music and commentary, with pin striping demonstrations on the grounds, in addition to kid's games, prizes, and the camp's bouncy house.
The Camp Courageous train will be offering rides, zip line rides will be offered for $10 per rider, and guests have the opportunity to enjoy the grounds of Camp Courageous. Special guest van “Salute to the Fallen” will be on display with a special presentation before the live auction.
Camp Courageous is a year-round recreational facility for individuals with special needs, serving nearly 10,000. The camp is run without government funding, formal sponsorship, or someone paid to raise funds for the camp. What this means is everything donated goes directly to benefit the campers. All proceeds from Cruisin' for Camp Courageous go to Camp Courageous.
