Work continues on Annex on the Square

Work continued Friday in downtown Cedar Rapids on the Annex on the Square project, on the site known as the Banjo Block, at 515 Fourth Ave. SE, across from the Cedar Rapids Public Library and Greene Square. The $49 million mixed-use, four-story development aims to bring a mix of commercial space and some 200 residential units. Cedar Rapids City Council signed a development agreement with Indianapolis-based TWG Development in January. Work is expected to be completed by January 2024.(Michael Chevy Castranova/The Gazette)
