Megabus expands service to Cedar Rapids, Iowa City
Megabus, one of the largest bus companies in North America, is partnering with Burlington Trailways to expand bus service to 48 Midwestern cities, including Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
The company will be adding daily trips between Cedar Rapids and 13 other cities, and adding daily trips between Iowa City and 20 other cities.
Current one-way fares from Cedar Rapids to Chicago are priced at $88.75 for one person plus a $3.99 booking fee. Full schedules and tickets are available on their website.
The first Megabus from Iowa City to Chicago stops May 4, 2010, in Iowa City. The carrier has announced a partnership with Burlington Trailways that expands service to 48 Midwestern cities, including Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. (The Gazette)
