Women Lead Change has begun a six-week program to provide leadership development for new managers — women and men — in manufacturing.
The program, called Level Up Manufacturing, is designed for current managers, supervisors, line leads and those in similar positions in the Corridor who are expected to be in leadership roles in the near future, the organization said in a news release.
“We have heard from manufacturers in the region that there is a need for development that is tailor-made for new managers specifically in this industry,” said Tiffany O’Donnell, CEO of Women Lead Change, a 501(c)3.

“So many times we hear the stories of new managers who move into roles without specific leadership training. As a thought leader in this space, we knew we could fill that need.”
Level Up is designed to support participants in gaining leadership insight, skills and experiences, according to the release.
The program will run August through October with sessions focusing on leadership presence, emotional intelligence, fierce conversations, inclusive cultures and growth mindset.
Applications for the pilot program are due by July 15 at wlcglobal.org/programs/levelup.
Candidates must be endorsed by their organizations. The fee is $2,500 per person or $2,000 per person for two or more seats.
