Iowa Workforce Development will host a workforce roundtable in Cedar Rapids for employers Monday morning as part of its recently launched series being held around the state to tackle work shortage issues.
The roundtable, set for 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at Lindale Mall, 4444 First Ave. NE, suite 436, will be to provide attending employers and educators with information on strategies to help them hire and retain workers, as well as on upskilling and removing barriers such as child care concerns, an IWD news release said.
