Hy-Vee next week will start offering free pickup for smaller grocery orders and is tweaking its delivery service to members of its online program.
Starting Tuesday, the supermarket chain will offer free pickup for customers who order groceries online, so long as the order is over $30.
Previously, free pickup was offered only on orders of $100 or more, with a $2.95 fee for pickup of orders less than $100.

Also on Tuesday, Hy-Vee will start delivering orders for free to members of its $99-per-year Aisles Online program, though the orders must be over $30. The store will charge non-member customers $9.95 for home deliveries.
The chain previously delivered orders over $100 for free and charged $4.95 for orders of less than $100.
Hy-Vee launched its Aisles Online program in summer 2015 and offers the service out of all of its stores, which encompass over 240 locations in eight Midwestern states.
