Trees Forever will honor several Corridor volunteers at its annual awards dinner on Wednesday. Kimm Harris, Hiawatha, will receive the President’s Award; Mike Meshak, Marion, Outstanding Volunteer Award posthumously; Erin and Brian Melloy, Solon, Environmental Steward Award; and Michael Martin, Cedar Rapids, the Environmental Steward Award, also posthumously.
The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association has been recognized for its outstanding public relations program with an Award of Excellence from the Executive Officers Council of the National Association of Home Builders.
