The 2020 Iowa high school boys' state basketball tournament played on Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines with semifinal games in Class 3A and Class 4A after a pair of consolation games.

CLASS 1A CONSOLATION
No. 7 Montezuma 78, No. 5 West Fork 72
Trey Shearer (27) and Cole Watts (26) combined for 53 points, hitting nine 3-pointers as Montezuma (25-3) bounced back to place third. Eddie Burgess added 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kayden Ames had 22 points for West Fork (24-4).
CLASS 2A CONSOLATION
No. 6 Camanche 77, No. 1 Treynor 66
L.J. Henderson and Mike Delzell led five Camanche (23-4) players in double-figures with 16 points apiece as the Indians took third place. Zach Erwin had 14, Cameron Soenksen 11 and Caleb Delzell totaled 10 points and 10 boards. Jack Stogdill scored a game-high 17 points, Jack Tiarks had 16 and Tim Zimmerman logged 14 for Treynor (25-3).
CLASS 3A SEMIFINALS
No. 1 Norwalk 79, Ballard 61
Bowen Born had 34 points and 11 assists as Norwalk (23-3), last year's Class 3A runner-up, returned to the title game. Ballard finished 19-7.
The Bombers jumped out to a 13-2 lead but Norwalk was within 34-32 by halftime and had a 25-10 advantage in the third quarter. Tyler Johnson added 19 points and Scott Anderson had 14, both making 3 of 6 3-point attempts.
Connor Drew led Ballard with 26 points on 10-for-23 shooting, including 5-for-10 from deep. Ashton Hermann scored 17.
Sergeant Bluff-Luton 55, Clear Creek Amana 46
Sergeant Bluff-Luton (16-10) started the fourth quarter on a 12-4 run to break away from a 37-37 tie and advance to the Class 3A final.
Daniel Wright posted 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Warriors, who were 10 for 33 from 3-point range. Majok Majouk and Jake Layman each scored 10.
Clear Creek Amana (20-6) ended the first half on a 10-0 run to go up 30-27 but shot just 35.6 percent for the game, including 3 of 13 from deep. Christian Withrow led the Clippers with 17 points. Tyler Schrepfrer had 13.

CLASS 4A SEMIFINALS
No. 6 Waukee 68, No. 1 Ankeny Centennial 62
Payton Sandfort scored 20 points, making 4 of 8 3-point shots, and Tucker DeVries added 17 to lead the Warriors (23-2) to their first state title game.
Waukee went on a 15-0 run in the second quarter to take a 34-20 lead and was up 34-25 at halftime. The Jaguars (24-2) got as close as 62-60 with 1:02 remaining but Pryce Sandfort and DeVries combined to go 6 of 6 at the line in the final minute.
Wyatt Heston and Lincoln Swanson each had 11 points for Waukee. Cody McCullough led Centennial with 19 and Micah Johnson scored 18.
Ankeny 71, No. 5 Cedar Falls 57
Unranked Ankeny blitzed two-time defending state champion Cedar Falls with six first-quarter 3-pointers to take a 27-9 lead and never looked back.
The Hawks (20-5) finished 12 of 22 from 3-point distance, led by Jordan Kumm's 6-for-9 effort for 18 points. Jaxon Smith was 4 for 7 from deep and scored 17 points and Braxton Bayless added 11 after putting up 41 in Wednesday's quarterfinal win over Iowa City West.
Trey Campbell led the Tigers (22-3) with 14 points. CF got as close as 30-24 with 1:20 left in the second quarter and 35-29 early in the third, but Ankeny pulled away with a 20-6 run.
