Alburnett defeated Tri-Center in their Class 1A quarterfinal game of the state baseball tournament at Merchants Park in Carroll on Monday, July 26, 2021. Alburnett won, 8-6, advancing them to the semifinal with Council Bluffs St. Albert on Wednesday at noon.
