“As a brand-new venue, this is a long-awaited announcement for us and the City of Coralville and for the first announced concert to be someone with the talent and popularity of Toby Keith, we could not be more thrilled to work with TK and Pepper Entertainment on this show,” said Xtream Arena General Manager Jack Ligon in a statement.

The roughly $70 million arena and sports complex opened in September 2020 and has hosted sporting events and soon will be home to a USHL hockey team, but this marks the first music event for the highly anticipated venue. The arena has a capacity of 6,600 for concerts.
“Xtream Arena has been a project 20 years in the making, and we were eager to open last September and now with this first concert announcement and the caliber of talent, the city of Coralville and its residents have another reason to look forward to visiting Xtream Arena and the Iowa River Landing,” Coralville Mayor John Lundell said in a statement.
Active since 1993, Keith has released 19 studio albums and is known for hits such as “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” “Red Solo Cup” and “How Do You Like Me Now?!”
Country musician Matt Stell has released four albums. His second single, “Everywhere But On,” was certified gold, according about to a news release.
Tickets go on sale April 30 at 10 a.m. through XtreamArena.com or at the Xtream Arena Box Office.
