IOWA CITY -- Megan Meyer, a reserve guard for the University of Iowa women’s basketball team, has entered the transfer portal, The Gazette has learned.
A source within the program confirmed Meyer’s decision Sunday night.
A sophomore from Mason City with three seasons of eligibility remaining, Meyer is the second Hawkeye to enter the portal since the season ended.

Freshman Lauren Jensen will continue her career at Creighton.
Meyer played in 29 of 30 games last season, averaging 8.8 minutes per game. She tallied 2.3 points per game, shooting 41.1 percent from the floor as the Hawkeyes (20-10) advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.
The younger sister of former Hawkeye Makenzie Meyer, Megan scored 90 points in two seasons.
Jensen and Meyer both announced their transfer after Iowa gained a guard -- Kylie Feuerbach -- via transfer in April.
