Senior Living Feels like family at The Views of Marion

If you’re considering senior living for yourself or family members, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed with options. The Views of Marion sets a high-quality standard, with a welcoming community of choices that anyone would be happy to call home.

While The Views is housed in a brand new building, the leadership team and owners bring years of experience. The Views Senior Living is locally owned and managed and has been providing award-winning care to the Cedar Rapids community since 2004. Offering privacy yet accessibility, The Views wellness campus is located on Oakbrook Drive in Marion, just off Hwy 100/Marion Bypass behind Furniture Row.

The Views community includes a 40-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapy center, 30 assisted living apartments and a one-of-a-kind 34 apartment memory care resembling their NW Cedar Rapids location, MeadowView Memory Care Village.

Marion’s new location is raising the bar even higher by being the 1st WELL registered Assisted Living in the nation! “WELL is about how can people who live there and work there have their health and wellness optimized,” says Dr. Michael Pietrzak, executive chairman of The Views Development, LLC. Living WELL with The Views of Marion offers residents and employees the ability to live and work in an environment built to benefit overall health by meeting regulated standards of quality; air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and focus on mind. They understand enhancing the quality of where you live impacts how you live.

For those needing memory care, MeadowView offers a unique, experiential environment with a streetscape design that includes a vintage parlor, movie theater, chapel, outdoor gardens and much more.Theirmemory care, with its indoor and outdoor walking layout, is designed to help individuals thrive. “The building design is a huge factor, but our activity program is what engages folks and helps to improve their quality of life,” says Julie Winterboer, recreation director. “We are very passionate about the types of activities we offer.” She speaks to the science behind keeping memory care residents active and engaged. “Research shows that consistent cognitive and physical activity actually helps balance out the disease process. It brings clarity and improved quality of life.” Another benefit is that it can improve one’s sleep.
