Filled with liquids, sparkling glitter, and even tiny items you can try to count, sensory bottles are a great way to relax and soothe yourself.
To make this one extra Valentine’s Day-themed, add red food coloring and heart confetti.
What you need:
- An empty bottle
- Water, corn syrup, and/or vegetable oil
- Glitter
- Confetti
- Food coloring
1. Fill about 1/3 of the bottle with corn syrup, and another 1/3 with vegetable oil. If you don’t have these exact items, experiment with other oils and amounts.

3. Shake, shake, shake! Watch the liquids in the bottle mix and separate as they settle.
