Oct 26, 2020 at 12:01 am

The data is clear that students entering school with quality early childhood programming are up to 18 months ahead of students who do not. A variety of groups are working to help strengthen Iowa’s early childhood system. We'll talk about how those groups are working to increase quality childhood education and the challenges of creating a quality childhood education system.

Panelists include: Shanell Wagler, Early Childhood Iowa; Jillian Herink, Iowa Association of Education for Young Children. Moderator: Grace King, The Gazette.

This session was part of the 2020 Iowa Ideas Conference presented by ITC and held Oct. 15-16, 2020. This session orginally occurred at 10 a.m.-11 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2020.
