Does it seem like there have been more school bus accidents this year? This bus went off a snow-covered road Friday morning between Elkader and Guttenburg. Four of the 20 students on board and the driver suffered minor injuries.
Thankfully, the injuries were not life-threatening, according to the Clayton County Sheriff's Office.
A Clayton Ridge Community school bus was overturned on Jasmine Rd., two miles East of Ironwood Rd. in Guttenberg on Friday, February 12, 2010. According to the Clayton County Sheriff's Department, William Rodenberg of Garnavillo lost control of the bus when going around a curve. There were 20 students on the bus when the accident happened and four, along with Rodenberg himself, received treatment at the Guttenberg Hospital, but no one sustained life-threatening injuries.
