Dubuque police say a Waterloo man has been arrested in a methamphetamine lab explosion at Loras College in Dubuque earlier this year.
The Telegraph Herald says 25-year-old Brent Brown was arrested last Friday on warrants charging him with first-degree arson and manufacture of meth within 1,000 feet of a protected area.
No attorney is listed on Brown's case on the online court system.
The blast damaged a common restroom at an apartment complex in February. Police said someone was making meth with the one-pot or shake-and-bake method, where the drug is made quickly in a 2-liter bottle. The person had fled by the time emergency crews arrived.
The blast caused over $11,000 in damage.
