Delores Ann Klever was born October 9, 1930, on a farm in Iowa County, Iowa, the daughter of Anton Herman and Hilda (Wille) Glandorf. She attended rural school near Williamsburg. On September 9, 1952, Delores was united in marriage to Louis John Klever at Immanuel Lutheran Church, near Williamsburg. She cleaned houses for many years. Delores was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg, where she volunteered with the His Too Class, helping the secretary and the church quilting group. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking. Delores died on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the English Valley Care Center in North English, at the age of 94 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Klever of Marengo and Deb & Ron Garringer of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, David (Heather) Wiebold, Jason (Megan) Wiebold, Nick Wiebold and Kasey Garringer; four great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kyler, Gracie and Hannah; a sister, Betty (Carl) Meyer of Marengo and a sister-in-law, Antoinette Ratkewicz. She was preceded by her parents, husband, and three brothers Gilbert (Janie) Glandorf, Harlan (Marlene) Glandorf and Wayne Glandorf.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Williamsburg. Burial will follow in the Pilot Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 -11:00 am, at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
