Mangan, Robert V.
Robert V. Mangan, 81, of Elkader, died Thursday, April 15, 2010, at the Guttenberg Care Center after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Delores of Elkader; children, Mike Bergstrom of Knoxville, Patti (Don) Parker of St. Louis, Mo., Beth (Rob) Heithoff of Chanhassen, Minn., and Brian (Penni) Bergstrom of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sister, Terri Nelson of Carnegie, Pa.; and many friends
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 19, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elkader, with the Rev. Paul R. Peters as celebrant. Inurnment, with military honors, will take place at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in New Hampton, Iowa. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader.
