Wilson, Wilma
Wilma Wilson, 86, of Hills, formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Greenwood Manor, Iowa City.
She was born on May 26, 1923, in Johnson County, Iowa, to Charles and Emma (Chehak) Netolicky. She married Carroll Wilson on Dec. 4, 1957. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1973.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She worked in the Medical Records Library at Anna Mental Health. She was a member of the Jonesboro Rebekah Lodge, Anna Star Chapter 522 OES and Women of the Moose.
She is survived by one brother, Lumear (Margaret) Netolicky of Cedar Rapids; a stepdaughter, Sandra Thumann of McCausland; nieces and nephews, Ann, Doris, David, Mary Lou and Catherine; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Adeline Reha; and two brothers, Leo and Charles.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Lensing Funeral Service, Iowa City; (319) 338-8171). The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Visitation will then be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Anna Jonesboro, Illinois; (618) 833-2176. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery, Anna, Illinois.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice, Greenwood Manor in Iowa City, or Atrium Village in Hills, Iowa.
