Ten years ago today, we lost thousands of Americans in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. A generation lost its innocence, too, and our nation's confidence slipped. We rallied, though, and sent our sons and daughters off to war and began to rebuild our lives and the World Trade Center. Today, The Gazette honors that pivotal moment in our history and all those who died with special commemorative coverage.
