Teen faces arson charge for October barn fire in Bellevue
Authorities said Tuesday that they believe a barn fire at 1209 State St. in Bellevue Oct. 12 was intentionally set.
According to a news release, Bellevue police charged 17-year-old Jace Erikson with second-degree arson, a class C felony.
Assisting police was the Bellevue Fire Department and Arson Unit, the Iowa State Fire Marshall's Office, Iowa DCI, Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Bellevue Ambulance, LaMotte, Preston and Springbrook fire departments.
