Preuss, Joan Marie

Joan Marie Preuss, 47, of Edgewood, Iowa, died at her residence on Saturday evening, April 10, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Edgewood. Celebrant: Rev. Stephen Lundgren. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood. Inurnment: Forrestville Cemetery, Dundee, Iowa

Survivors include her husband, David Preuss of Edgewood; her two daughters, Kely (Bruce) Hemann of Edgewood, and Riley Preuss at home; two granddaughters, Lydia and Claire Hemann; her mother, Beverly Fannon of Edgewood; five siblings, Joe (Cheryl) Fannon of Edgewood, Jerry (Barb) Fannon of Coralville, Jim (Lori) Fannon of Edgewood, J.P. Fannon of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Judy (Jose) Bugbee of Hiawatha; her mother-in-law, Leah Preuss of Edgewood; two sisters-in-law, Karen (Chad) Kehrli of Manchester and Kristy (Brandon) Mather of Edgewood; and many nieces and nephews, by whom she was adored.

Joan was preceded in death by her father, John Fannon, and her father-in-law, Russell Preuss.
