Bemer, Bobby Lee
Bobby Lee Bemer, 44, of Toddville, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, with Chaplain Paul Monska officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Janice Bemer of Toddville; brother, Dennis Bemer of Palo; nephew, Tanner Bemer of Minooka, Ill.; numerous aunts and uncles; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Bemer in 2003; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Bobby Lee Bemer was born July 10, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, the son of James and Janice (Goodall) Bemer. Bobby farmed in the Toddville area for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and especially loved his dogs.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
