A car crashed into a fence Tuesday morning on Interstate 380, but police said no serious injuries were reported.
Officers responded just before 7 a.m. to the crash on southbound I-380 just before the Highway 30 interchange. One lane was blocked for commuters, causing traffic to slow.
It appeared the car spun backward through a chain-link fence just after crossing a bridge. The fence stopped the car from going down a steep embankment. A semi-trailer truck was pulled over nearby, but it was not immediately clear whether the two vehicles collided. The car had extensive damage, but the semi appeared unscathed.
Lt. Cody Estling said he was still gathering details on the crash and was unsure if anyone was transported to a hospital.
"If there are injuries, they would be very minor," Estling said.
A second crash was reported in the same area around 7:35 a.m. Officers were investigating the situation.
Check back for updates.
