Occupy Wall Street protesters fail to deliver coherent message

Video evidence shows Tea Party rallies were nothing more than American flag-waving, peaceful demonstrations. Now, thousands of videos have surfaced on YouTube showing the Occupy Wall Street protests as demonstrations of lawlessness, hostility and civil disobedience. These videos show protesters stomping on the American flag, defecating on police cars, fighting with police and passers-by, disrupting business activity and getting arrested by the hundreds.

Many protesters use profane language to describe America when talking to interviewers, while they fail to deliver a coherent message when describing their demands.

Large labor unions, including the AFL-CIO and SEIU, helped to organize these protests in September. Now other organizations have joined this protest movement, including the American Nazi Party, the Socialist Party of America and the Communist Party USA. Many prominent Democrat politicians have also expressed their support, including New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is reported to be circulating a petition seeking 100,000 party supporters to declare that I stand with the Occupy Wall Street protests.

I predict this show of support will backfire on Democrats, including the president, who are looking to capitalize on the Occupy Wall Street protests.

I will be scrutinizing the campaign contributions of one particular Council Bluffs politician. Democratic Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal has received campaign contributions from many an SEIU- and AFL-CIO-affiliated union in the past. He would be best served by associating with those who wave the American flag not stomp on it.
