The Walkthrough -- Northwestern

-- I've heard no WR/PR Colin Sandeman today. Senior Paul Chaney would take his spot on return punt and probably in the WR rotation.

-- RB Adam Robinson is back in the lineup, according to Iowa radio.

-- DC Norm Parker made the trip and will "hopefully provide added incentive," Iowa radio dude Gary Dolphin said.

-- Ricky Stanzi is doing the pregame throwaround. The twist today is a backwards Hawkeye baseball cap. All three QBs are wearing those handwarmer thingies. Not sure they'll need them. It's high or mid 50s here. Cloudy and it looks as if it could rain, but it's warm. Freshman A.J. Derby isn't with the QBs, but it's a road game (70 players allowed to bus over) and he's redshirting, so that's that.

-- No K Daniel Murray.

-- Returners out, No Sandeman.

-- Robinson out with the returners. He is a No. 2 on kick return. So is CB Jordan Bernstine.

-- I haven't seen true frosh TE C.J. Fiedorowicz. EDIT: There he is. Yes, I missed the 6-7, 250-pound tight end.

-- Ferentz: Iowa used its "mulligan" last week at Indiana.

-- More Ferentz: ARob starts. G Adam Gettis and CB Willie Lowe didn't make the trip. Ankles for both. Coker's camp injury was a broken collarbone. Tarp playing time to increase. How much? We'll see.

-- Outback and TicketCity Bowls here today. The TicketCity was the Dallas Classic until this week.

-- TEAM: Tarpinian starting at OLB. Josh Koeppel at RG. Nolan MacMillan is here, but he's favoring his right shoulder and has a stinger.
