VIDEO: Behind the scenes at Frightmare Forest

The thousands of Eastern Iowans who have visited Frightmare Forest in Cedar Rapids this year have only gotten a glimpse into the terror that hides beneath the dark canopy of trees.

This five-acre outdoor haunt scares the cast and crew members too. In its eighth and final year at the Preserve Lane, northeast location, cast and crew members give one reporter a look into what happens at the Forest, both in front -- and behind -- the scary scenes.

The Frightmare Forest family will put on their last show Saturday night before they pack up and prepare for a move to an indoor facility in downtown Cedar Rapids.

The haunt opens at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $9 for the first haunt, and $13 for the first and second haunts of the forest.
