16 Moser gymnasts win state titles

Youth sports: 126 qualify for USTA national tournament

Sixteen members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastics won USTA Power Tumbling state titles recently and 126 qualified for the national championships in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., later this month.

Thirty Iowa clubs and 620 athletes competed in the state tournament.

Moser’s 16 state champions were Carter Phillips, Katie Fitzgerald, Amiya Birkel, Isabel Markham, Kylie Belinsky, Allysa Sadewasser, Brynn Burlage, Elyse Konrardy, Memphis Peyton, Adler Mormann, Aaliyah Rosenthal, Ava Seevell, Laura Pierschbacher, Brody Ries, Carlie Bergan and Lainey Payne. Burlage, Rosenthal and Bergan were high point finishers at their levels.

Other flight winners were Kaydence Ahart, Emma Bockenstedt, Carley Hillebrand, Kennedi Bevans, Isabel Markham, Megan Pierschbacher, Ella Davidshofer, Brynn Burlage, Elyse Konrardy, Gracyn Fangman, Keyra Thomas, Ella Krivanek, Ella Digmann, Gracie Anton, Avery Fette, Delaney Brown, Madilyn Payne and Ava Seevell.

Runners-up where Hannabelle Erickson, Memphis Voelker, Reagan Dolan, Brooklin Ante, Logan Bevans, Mikya Britton, Lily Schmitz, Taylor Mullis, Ava Nolan, Kennedi Bevans, Kennedy Bulman, Allie Esmann, Savanna Lehman, Ella Oberbreckling, Addison Norton, Kaleah Belinsky, Tucker Erickson, Hayleigh Thomas, Amy Morris, Myra Peyton, Kadee Batterson, Ella Frieden, Jorgie Schulte, Kaia Engelhardt, Julia Kuennen, Abbigail Stoffel, Faith Kirby, Madelyn Pope and Kendalyn Belinsky.

Myra Clasen placed third, along with Emma Oberbroeckling, Reagan Brown, Madelyn Schmitz, Gabrielle Guilford, Isabella Barrett, Whitney Long, Maddesyn Demmer, Madelyn Troester, Makayla Cuellar, Ingrid Vaughn, Kaley Polfer, Kendall Wagner, Kylee McElmeel, Madison O’Hea, Destiny Wall, Libby Burkle, Leigha Hinrichs, Brynn Bucknell and Malin Phelps.
