“It’s like the Super Bowl for an Iowa City kid.”

Iowa City High and Iowa City West have been battling for the Boot on the gridiron since 1969. There’s never an empty seat during the annual cross-town rivalry, featuring programs who have combined for seven state championships.

The Little Hawks and Trojans meet this Friday at West.
