North Cedar held it’s annual Bill Bails Invitational on Monday, finishing second in the girls’ race.

Bellevue Marquette won the race with 42 points, followed by the Knights with 50.

Tessa Fields led North Cedar with a fourth-place finish in 21 minutes, 22 seconds.

“The entire team ran inspired races,” North Cedar Coach Kirk Ketelsen said. “The Bill Bails Invite means a lot to the kids and they showed it.

“I am really proud of our team.”

The North Cedar boys finished last in the nine-team meet with 226 points.
