Iowa high school girls' state soccer: Brackets, schedule, scores

The Iowa girls’ state soccer tournament takes over Cownie Soccer Park this week in Des Moines after the boys crowned their champions last week. Quarterfinals take place Thursday in all three classes, with the semifinals to follow on Friday and the championships set for Saturday.

Davenport Assumption (1A) and Lewis Central (2A) are returning champions and both ranked No. 1, while Class 3A is guaranteed a new winner after Ames was knocked out in the regional semifinals.

Here’s a look at the state tournament pairings in bracket order. We’ll update scores and schedules here as the tournament progresses.

Class 1A
