HS journalism: He once shot a perfect 300 in 3D

MOUNT VERNON — Logan Kelly is a Mount Vernon High School archer who has broken almost all of the boys’ school archery records.

Kelly also is the only archer in the world to shoot a perfect 300 in 3D. He won state championship in 3D and 10 individual state titles.

This video is one of a series created by high school students for the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum on Main Street exhibit “Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America,” which will be on display at the First Street Community Center in Mount Vernon, from March 18-April 29, 2018.
