CRAG's Reyata Ortiz grabs 4 gymnastics titles at Blizzard Beach

Youth notebook: Brianna Bell of Kids First wins in Illinois

Reyata Ortiz of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won four events at the recent Blizzard Beach Invitational hosted by Cedar Rapids Twisters.

Ortiz won the vault, bars, floor exercise and all around in Xcel Silver.

Teammate Emmalye Bordignon won three events in Silver — the bars, beam and floor — and Alivia Foster won the beam and floor in Xcel Platinum.

Other CRAG winners were Londyn Stoffel (floor) in Silver, Lauren Miller (beam) in Gold, and Megan Kiesey (floor) in Platinum.

Top three placewinners were Trinitee Burris, Jules Miskel, Geniva Bann, Mika Marsh, Taryn Neighbor, Ella Huber, Kalli Kircher and Leah Huber in Silver. Mya Gilchrist and Isabel Osterhaus in Gold, Kori Lyle in Platinum and Carly Mark in Diamond.

At the Classic Spectacular, CRAG’s Anna Weaver won the beam n Level 7, and Natalie Freeman and Maya Deuso were placewinners in levels 8 and 9, respectively.

KIDS FIRST’S BELLE WINS TITLE

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Brianna Bell of Kids First gymnastics won the bars and placed third in the all around in Level 4 at the King Arthur Invitational.

Teammate Reese Kendall finished third in the vault
