CEDAR RAPIDS — The annual Eastern Iowa All-Star Game boys’ and girls’ basketball double-header is scheduled for Wednesday night at Kirkwood Community College’s Johnson Hall.
The girls’ game begins at 6 p.m., with the boys following at approximately 7:15. Many of the top senior players from the area will play, including 2018 Iowa Mr. Basketball Joe Wieskamp of Muscatine and 2018 Miss Basketball Ashley Joens of Iowa City High.
The North team roster for the girls’ game is Allie Wooldridge of Center Point-Urbana, Chloe Rice and Mia Laube of Marion, Kiana Barney and Kamryn Finley of Cedar Falls, Tatum Koenig of West Branch, Shannon Pisney of Crestwood, Ashley Tull of North Linn, Krystal Tranel of Dubuque Wahlert and Hailey Dolphin of Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
On the South team is Ashley Joens of Iowa City High, Logan Cook and Rachel Saunders of Iowa City West, Mikayla Nachazel and Rylee Menster of Springville, Mackenzie Rogers of Mediapolis, Amber Nicole Buch of Fairfield, Emily Ivory of Bettendorf, Autum Barthelman of Sigourney and Maci Gambell of Pekin.
The North team for the boys’ game is A.J. Green of Cedar Falls, Ryan Miller of North Linn, Alec Oberhauser of Aplington-Parkersburg, Cade Daugherty of Bellevue, Carondis Harris-Anderson of Waterloo West, Carter Stevens of Dubuque Senior, Matt Mims and Jackson Joens of Cedar Rapids Xavier and Lucas Duax and Keith Johnson of Dubuque Hempstead.
