Iowa lost its fifth straight game Saturday and second consecutive one-possession defeat at Carver-Hawkeye Arena as Jordan Bohannon missed a stepback on the 3-point line, then Tyler Cook's second chance off the glass was well off at the buzzer.
That ended an entertaining game in which both teams held 13-point leads -- Iowa in the first half, Indiana in the second.
The Hawkeyes shot 55.1 percent but turned it over 17 times. Indiana made 14 3s, led by a 9-for-12 showing from Robert Johnson, who led the Hoosiers with 29 points.
Cook led Iowa with 28 points and 10 rebounds, adding four assists. Luka Garza added 17 points.
