No. 6 Cascade (22-2) vs. No. 3 Central Decatur (24-0)
Time: 10 a.m.
Coaches: Mike Sconsa is in his 13th season at Cascade and owns a record of 255-61. Curtis Boothe has posted a 408-116 mark in 24 years, including 291-64 in 15 seasons at Central Decatur.
Top players: Abbie Ruggeberg (5-10, jr.) leads a balanced Cascade squad at 11.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Nicole McDermott (5-5, fr.) adds 10.9 ppg. Central Decatur has four players averaging in double figures, led by Emma Atwood (5-11, soph.) at 18.7 points per game. Alli Masters (5-11, soph.) adds 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest.
Tournament history: Cascade has qualified for the sixth time, its fourth appearance in five years. The Cougars were 2A runners-up in 2009. Central Decatur is making its fourth appearance, its second straight.

Top players: All five of Center Point-Urbana’s starters average at least 6.9 points per game. Allie Wooldridge (6-0, jr.), a UW-Green Bay commit, leads the way at 12.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. Adrianna Katcher (5-9, fr.) adds 8.8 points per game. She was the 3A state cross country champion last fall. Jasmine Harris (5-10, sr.) and Bailey Brown (5-6, jr.) are the top players for Assumption, averaging 16.1 and 14.3 points per game, respectively.
Tournament history: CPU is making its fifth appearance, its third in four years. The Stormin’ Pointers were 2A champions in 1995. Assumption is in the field for the 14th time, the 12th time since 2000. The Knights have won four state titles since 2008, with three different coaches.

Top players: Lexi Noonan (5-10, sr.) paces Xavier at 14.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
