Morris on 3rd NFL team in three years

Former University of Iowa linebacker James Morris was added to the Dallas Cowboys’ 90-man summer camp roster Tuesday.

Morris, from Solon, played at Iowa from 2010 to 2013. He was an undrafted free agent who signed with the New England Patriots in 2014 and spent the season on injured reserve. He was signed by the New York Giants last season and was activated for six games.

Anthony Hitchens, who played linebacker alongside Morris at Iowa, is entering his third season with the Cowboys.
