The “On Iowa Podcast” has tackled many interesting sports topics over the last two months, and in case you’ve missed them, here’s a chance to get caught up. Some of our podcasts are attached, while others are linked below.

Best of PTL interviews — Subjects include Tyler Cook, Cordell Pemsl, Jordan Bohannon, Christian Williams, Ahmad Wagner, Dom Uhl and Peter Jok.

Where should Iowa play non-conference games? — This podcast presents a wish list of sorts of where we’d like to see Iowa football and men’s basketball compete. Some of the locales include LSU and Kentucky.

Best of the B1G West — We rank our top 10 players in the Big Ten West Division entering the 2016 season. One player in particular is polarizing.

What will college football look like in 10 years? — How will realignment shake out in the future? Will there be more expansion? Will the current system crumble and a new one take its place?

Debating the pros and cons of the Cy-Hawk series — We take a look at the somewhat polarizing rivalry between Iowa and Iowa State. Is it good for either side? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Should Iowa add ice hockey? — With Big Ten media rights deals providing significant revenue coupled with a new Coralville arena, should the Hawkeyes join its league rivals and add men’s and women’s ice hockey?

Best football interviews of 2015 — We provide game-by-game interviews from the 2015 football regular season, from Marshall Koehn’s assessment of his 57-yard field goal to beat Pittsburgh to C.J. Beathard’s comments after fighting through injuries to beat Northwestern.

Talking realignment with Omaha World-Herald’s Lee Barfknecht — Lee has covered college sports since 1980 and has witnessed the Big Eight morph into the Big 12 and covered Nebraska joining the Big Ten. He’s a wealth of knowledge on this topic, and this is one of my personal favorites.

Remembering Bob Brooks — I felt privileged to join Mike Hlas’ podcast alongside former WMT radio broadcaster Ron Gonder and former KCRG sports director John Campbell to discuss the late great Bob Brooks and his legendary career covering Eastern Iowa sports, including the Iowa Hawkeyes. Mike had some other terrific interviews with Aaron White and Kirk Ferentz worth checking out.
