RoughRiders trade for Finnish forward Aleksi Halme

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have made another trade.

Coach/General Manager Mark Carlson said Wednesday the USHL club has acquired forward Aleksi Halme from the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for future considerations.

Halme, 16, is from Tampere, Finland. He was an 11th-round draft pick of Muskegon in the 2016 USHL Entry Draft, Phase II.

Halme had two assists in one game for the Lumberjacks.

The RoughRiders (0-2-1) have made trades to acquire four new players since the end of the preseason. They host Muskegon for games Friday and Saturday nights.
