Former Linn-Mar prep Marcus Paige signs contract with NBA's Utah Jazz

CEDAR RAPIDS — The NBA’s Utah Jazz announced Monday afternoon that they have signed former Linn-Mar prep Marcus Paige to a 2016-17 contract.

Paige, the former University of North Carolina star, was drafted by the club in the second round of the 2016 draft. He played nine games for Utah in the Utah Jazz Summer League and NBA Summer League, averaging 7.0 points, 1.6 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 19 minutes per game.

Per team policy, terms of Paige’s contract were not revealed. The club said he will wear uniform number 16.
