Remember Terry Branstad's last action on firearms

In the wake of the Florida school shooting, it is interesting to note that one of the last officials acts by former Gov. Terry Branstad, before he left for China, was to sign into law a National Rifle Association sponsored bill to lower the age Iowa children could have weapons (from 16 to 14 years of age).

Kim Reynolds (then lieutenant governor and now current governor) strongly supported the measure.
