Middle school student is an inspiration

Many of the mass shootings we have experienced in our country have roots in the shooter experiencing bullying, exclusion and alienation from those around them.

Kudos to Cora Johansen for the work and imagination she put into making a personalized Valentine for every student in her middle school.

The empathy and proactive act displayed by Cora is an inspiration to all of us that we can all take responsibility to reach out to all of our neighbors.

Way to go, Cora!
