Media should end advertisement of guns

If members of the media really were serious about curtailing the pro-gun mentality in this country, they no longer would accept advertisements featuring guns.

Just as we no longer see ads for cigarettes or hard liquor in our newspapers or on television, we should not have guns promoted in them.

Gun shows, gun sales and yes, gun replica advertisements, have no place where all ages and any potential purchasers can view them.
